Farewell “Alvida Fiesta” Organised for MBA Batch of 2025 at AMU
TNN News : The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), hosted a vibrant farewell titled “Alvida Fiesta: The Beginning is The End, The End is The Beginning” for the outgoing MBA batch of 2025. The event was organized by the first-year MBA students of the 2026 batch and featured a mix of emotions, entertainment, and honour to seniors.
The evening began with soulful poem by Anas Ibrahim and Wadood Irteza, followed by musical performances by Abdul Ahad Rauf and Asjad Ali. Engaging segments such as “Dare Devil” and “Rapid Fire Round” added energy and laughter to the event. A heartfelt monologue by Prashant Singh Baghel and a “Lucky Draw” round, won by Faraz Anis, added further charm.
Special honours were paid to Dr. Afaq Khan, who retired on April 30, 2025, with a speech by Arham Ullah Khan and a felicitation ceremony. Titles were announced, with Mr. Evening awarded to Asjad Ali, and Miss Evening jointly to Sahar Farrukh and Mahwash Fatima. The prestigious Mr. and Miss Farewell titles went to Mohd. Zaid Khan and Sauda Wakil respectively.
Prof. Salma Ahmad, Chairperson of the Department, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement.
The event was conducted by Maria Alam and Hasan Mohammad Khan, while Yusra Najam extended a vote of thanks.
