Inter Faith Harmony Foundation of India to Organise Dialogue on Peace and Unity in Delhi

TNN NEWS April 13, 2026  : The Inter Faith Harmony Foundation of India New Delhi, is set to organise a significant “Harmony Dialogue Session – I” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Harmony Secretariat, Meena Bhagh New Delhi. The programme will be held from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

The session will centre on the theme “Inter Faith Dialogue for Peace, Harmony, and a United Society,”. The programme will begin with initial remarks by experts, followed by an open and free-flowing discussion designed to encourage diverse perspectives and constructive exchange of ideas.

Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, will deliver the keynote address. The session will be presided over by Dr Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed, Founder and President of the Inter Faith Harmony Foundation of India. The discussion will be moderated by Dr Deeba from Jamia Millia Islamia.

The organisers have emphasised that the dialogue seeks to highlight the importance of interfaith understanding in today’s context, where mutual respect and cooperation among diverse communities are essential for social harmony.

The Foundation has extended invitations to scholars, students, and members of civil society to participate in the session and contribute to the dialogue.

He stated that Harmony Foundation aims to promote a culture of engagement and understanding, reinforcing the idea that dialogue remains a powerful tool in building a more inclusive and united society.
