Dr Zubair Shadab Khan Appointed Director, CPDUT, AMU
TNN News : Dr Zubair Shadab Khan has been appointed as the Director of the Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Teachers (CPDUT), also known as the Urdu Academy, at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), for a period of three years or until the post is filled through the general selection committee, with immediate effect.
Dr Khan is an experienced academic and author with several publications to his credit, including Radio Plays: History, Genre and Techniques; Urdu Language, Literature and Culture; Radio TV: History and Techniques; and ZabaanShanasi. He has also compiled and edited more than half a dozen books and published over thirty research papers in reputed journals across Urdu, Hindi, and English.
“At CPDUT, my endeavour will be to strengthen initiatives in language pedagogy, translation studies, and interdisciplinary approaches in Urdu education,” said, Dr Zubair Shadab Khan.
