AMU’s Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib Organizes National Symposium on World Health Day

TNN News : The Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a National Symposium to mark World Health Day  .
Welcoming the guest speakers, Prof Rubi Anjum, Chairperson of the department, emphasized the urgent need for accessible and quality healthcare services for mothers and newborns. She highlighted that over 60 participants, including faculty members and research scholars, attended the symposium and benefitted from the expert lectures.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Shazia Parveen from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, JN Medical College, who spoke extensively on maternal and child health. The event was presided over by Prof Firasat Ali, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, while Prof B.D. Khan, Principal, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, chaired the lecture session.
Dr. Ammar Ibne Anwar, the convener of the program, elaborated on the theme of the day, “Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures.” Prof Zarnigar from the National Institute of Unani Medicine delivered the concluding remarks, and Dr. Sahba Rana conducted the programme.
