AMU’s Dept. Of Applied Chemistry Hosts Induction Programme for M.Sc. Polymer Science & Technology Students

TNN News : The Department of Applied Chemistry, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), AMU, held an Induction Programme to welcome the incoming batch of M.Sc.
Polymer Science & Technology students (2025). The programme aimed to help students transition smoothly into the academic environment and equip them with essential insights into departmental expectations, curriculum, and available resources.
Prof. Rais Ahmad, Chairman of the Department, delivered the Welcome Address, urging students to strive for innovation and academic distinction. Senior faculty member Prof. Shahabuddin emphasized the importance of bridging academia with industry for meaningful research and employment.
Dr. Inamuddin, Course Coordinator, highlighted the role of discipline in academic success. Dr. Musheer Ahmad introduced the curriculum and academic roadmap, while Dr. Yasser Azim, Training and Placement Officer, discussed skill enhancement and career pathways.
Students were familiarized with the department’s library resources by Dr. Farman Ali. In a vital session on campus safety, Dr. Aiman Ahmad addressed anti-ragging and anti-harassment protocols. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Mossarat Parveen, reflecting the department’s commitment to promote an inclusive and academically vibrant environment for new entrants.
Dr. Mohd Arsalan coordinated the session, creating an engaging platform for interaction.
