AMU’s Prof. Farha Azmi Represents University at National Nursing Principals Meet in Delhi

TNN News : Professor Farha Azmi, Principal, College of Nursing, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), participated in the National Nursing Principals Meet 2025 held at The Lalit, New Delhi. The event brought together leading nursing educators, policymakers, and institutional heads from across the country to deliberate on the theme, “Digital Learning in Nursing Education and Training.”
Representing AMU, Prof. Azmi shared insights on the integration of technology in nursing pedagogy, highlighting the importance of student-centric digital models, simulation-based clinical learning, and equitable access to digital tools.
She underscored the importance of institutional encouragement in advancing nursing education and acknowledged the collaborative spirit of fellow principals and academic delegates, which made the event a meaningful platform for collective progress in healthcare education.
The meet featured keynote addresses by prominent figures including Professor Bimla Kapoor, Chairperson of the Committee of Experts for the National Nursing Commission Bill 2020, and Professor Manju Chhugani from Jamia Hamdard. Prof. Azmi expressed appreciation for their guidance throughout her academic journey.
