Lecture at AMU Highlights Qur’anic Insights on Enhancing Presentation Skills

TNN News : The K.A. Nizami Centre for Qur’anic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized a lecture on “Presentation Skills” as part of its Qur’an Extension Lecture Series: Creative Wonders of Allah in the Qur’an – A Scientific Study.
Delivering a keynote address, Dr. Mohd. Saeem Khan, Department of Commerce, AMU, provided valuable insights into the art of effective communication and presentation, focusing on the importance of clarity, confidence, and audience engagement. He emphasized the relevance of ethical communication, as advocated by Islamic teachings, in enhancing presentation skills and fostering meaningful connections.
In his presidential remarks, Professor Kidwai highlighted the teachings of Verse 152 of Surah Al-An’am, which advocate speaking with truth and justice, even under challenging circumstances. He remarked, “The Qur’an not only encourages effective communication but also instills the principles of sincerity and responsibility in our words. True presentation skills are about conveying truth with conviction and integrity.”
The event was coordinated by Dr. Arshad Iqbal, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Adeeba Taj, Research Scholar at the Centre.
The lecture saw active participation from students, scholars, and faculty members, fostering an intellectually stimulating environment.
