KIRAN BEDI : A Letter To All Mothers

TNN News : We are facing an existential vacuum—where personal frustration is being masked by an insatiable hunger for money and visibility, often gained at the cost of truth, dignity, and others’ pain. This has become a modern misery, one of the greatest moral crises of our times.

A particular social media platform has now become a stark example of this decay.

With brazen contempt, they chose to mock the fact that I am a Mother-in-Uniform. They publicly questioned my responsibility as a mother, especially during a moment when my daughter needed protection from a manipulative and dangerous man.

Worse still, they allegedly dug into over 22 years of my personal emails—an act that appears to be either a hack or enabled by a hack. A formal case regarding the breach of my email is currently under investigation with the Delhi Police.

This is a solemn appeal—not just to mothers, but to all citizens—to remain alert and guarded against these hungry hounds that prey on personal lives for clicks and clout.

I also make a strong and urgent appeal to the Judiciary and the Executive: please take serious note of such digital wolves. We need effective, enforceable, and truly deterrent legal frameworks to ensure that such violations are met with stringent punishment.

These digital predators lurk outside our homes and within our devices. They are watching, waiting—for their next target.

Let us not wait until they come for someone we love.
