Maa Heeraben Modiji Birth Anniversary on June 18 to Be Commemorated Through ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ on 12 Years of Narendra Modi Government

On Maa Heeraben Modiji’s Birth Anniversary, CNMS and DAIC to Launch Seminar Series on 12 Years of Modi Government theme From Welfare to Women-Led Development, June 18

 

TNN News  June 17:  On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maa Heeraben Modi, the Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS), in collaboration with the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, will organise the inaugural session of the national seminar series “NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad” on June 18, 2026. The seminar is being held as part of the commemoration of twelve years of the Narendra Modi Government and will focus on the themes of women’s empowerment, women-led development and their role in realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

The first session of the seminar will deliberate on the topic “Nari Shakti as the Foundation of Viksit Bharat.” Former Chief Justice of Patna High Court and former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Punjab, Justice Iqbal Ahmad Ansari, will chair the session, while Rajmata Ambica Annapurna Ji Kheer Bhawani will attend as the Principal Guest.

The panel discussion will feature Smt. Kalpana Singh, Gram Pradhan of Sikanderpur Maachhua village in Aligarh district, senior BJP leader and educationist Shri Shyam Jaju, Dr. Amna Mirza, Associate Professor, and Dr. Aparna Singh, Associate Professor at Banaras Hindu University.

The second session of the seminar will focus on the theme “From Welfare to Women-Led Development.” The session will be chaired by Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, former Governor of Assam.

Distinguished participants in the second session included Dr. Basant Goel, Chairman of Mission Sarvarth Seva Foundation, and Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam of the Rashtriya Imam Organisation, New Delhi, as Guests of Honour. Dr. Mohd Shams Equbal, Director, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), Ministry of Education, will attend as the Principal Guest, while Prof. Divya Tanwar of Divye Foundation, New Delhi, will participate as a panelist.

Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Founder and Chairman of the Centre for NaMo Studies, said, “The ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ series has been conceived to create a serious academic and intellectual platform to assess the transformative changes witnessed in India during the last twelve years.”

He added, “To the best of our knowledge, CNMS is the first think tank in the country to organize a dedicated twelve-seminar national series on the twelve years of the Narendra Modi Government. This initiative seeks to document achievements, encourage informed discussions and inspire greater public participation in the nation-building process.”
