One day Hindi workshop-Unicode training organized in Jamia
TNN News : One-day Hindi Workshop-Unicode Training organized by Jamia Millia Islamia’s State Language Hindi Cell on June 30, 2025. 20 employees nominated by Jamia Millia Islamia Foundation section (Non-Teaching) participated in this workshop.
It is necessary for every office to conduct workshops in every quarter according to the annual program of State Language Department, Home Ministry, Government of India. Keeping this in mind, “Hindi Workshop-Unicode Training for Jamia Employees” was organized under the direction of Jamia Vice Secretary, Professor Mahtab Alam Rizvi.
The main objective of this workshop was to provide practical training of typing Hindi to Jamia staff in simple way to make the staff easier in doing Hindi function in office and they can continuously use Hindi in their office work.
The workshop was organized in the computer lab of FTK Information Technology Center (CIT) of Jamia. Dr. System Analyst of FTK Information Technology Center, Jamia as Subject Specialist Aziz Ullah Khan was invited who informed the participants about the topic nuisance and their applications. Participants expressed their eagerness and interest in the training.
Q&A session was also held at the end of the workshop in which participants got solutions to their questions from the subject-expert and increased the subject knowledge.
