Saugat E Modi : Muslim Forum Welcomes ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ Campaign as a Positive Step Towards Inclusivity

TNN News : The Forum for Muslim Studies & Analysis (FMSA) appreciates the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ initiative launched by the BJP Minority Morcha ahead of Eid. This noble effort to distribute essential kits to 3.2 million underprivileged Muslim families across India reflects a commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that festivals are celebrated with dignity and joy.

Secretary General of FMSA & Donor of Aligarh Muslim University Prof Jasim Mohammad said, Providing food essentials and clothing to economically weaker sections is a commendable humanitarian gesture that aligns with the values of compassion and shared prosperity.

The inclusion of Eid Milan celebrations and outreach through mosques highlights a meaningful engagement with the community, fostering a spirit of brotherhood and unity.

Moreover, the broader vision of extending similar support during Ramzan, Good Friday, Easter, Nauruz, and New Year underscores a truly inclusive approach. By integrating various religious and cultural occasions, the initiative promotes harmony and a sense of belonging among all communities.

FMSA believes that such programs not only provide material assistance but also strengthen social cohesion by bridging gaps and encouraging dialogue. It is heartening to see efforts that go beyond politics and focus on uplifting marginalized sections of society. Initiatives like these have the potential to build trust and open new avenues for constructive engagement between the government and the Muslim community.

FMSA encourages all stakeholders to support such initiatives and hopes that similar welfare-driven outreach efforts continue to flourish, ensuring that no family is left behind in moments of celebration.
