NEP 2020 Has Empowered a New Generation of Learners, Says Centre for NaMo Studies
TNN News, July 29, 2026: The Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) commemorated six years of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, describing the landmark reform as a transformative vision that has reshaped India’s education landscape and strengthened the nation’s march towards a Viksit Bharat.
Marking the sixth anniversary of the policy, the CNMS highlighted that NEP 2020 has laid the foundation for an education system that is student-centric, multidisciplinary, inclusive, innovation-driven, and future-oriented. By promoting critical thinking, research, skill development, industry-academia collaboration, and technology-enabled learning, the policy continues to prepare young Indians to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving global economy.
Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of the Centre for NaMo Studies, said that NEP 2020 represents a visionary roadmap for nation-building through education. He stated that the policy is empowering learners with the knowledge, skills, and values required to contribute meaningfully to India’s development and global leadership.
He reaffirmed that the Centre for NaMo Studies remains committed to translating the vision of NEP 2020 into impactful academic and research initiatives that nurture skilled, innovative, and globally competent graduates. “Six years of progress have created countless opportunities for India’s youth. Together, we continue to work towards one shared vision for India’s future—a developed, knowledge-driven, and self-reliant nation,” he said.
Hony Trustee Prof. Divya Tanwar said that the implementation of NEP 2020 has opened new opportunities for students, educators, researchers, and institutions by encouraging flexibility, innovation, and holistic development while reinforcing India’s rich knowledge traditions.
The Centre for NaMo Studies extended its congratulations to students, teachers, researchers, educational institutions, and policymakers who have contributed to the successful implementation of NEP 2020 and reiterated its commitment to supporting educational excellence and nation-building through research, dialogue, and public engagement.
