Two AMU Engineering Students Selected for Ph.D. Programme at IIIT-Delhi

TNN News : Two final-year B.Tech. Electronics students from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Ojas Sharma and Ayesha Parveen, have been selected for admission to the prestigious Ph.D. programme at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi. Both of them will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 each along with other benefits.
The selection was made through an online placement drive conducted by IIIT-Delhi, which was open to final-year students of M.Tech. and B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), and allied areas from the 2025 graduating batch.
The recruitment process included a technical test followed by a personal interview.
The Training and Placement Officer (ZHCET), Mr. Farhan Saeed, congratulated the selected students, adding that the IIIT-Delhi recruiters appreciated AMU students for their knowledge and academic standards maintained at ZHCET.
