Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan pledge administered at JMI’s Dr. Zakir Hussain Hall of Boys’ Hostel
TNN News : Vice Chancellor Jamia Millia Islamia, Prof. Mazhar Asif and Registrar JMI, Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, administered the oath of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ at the annual sports celebrations of the Dr. Zakir Hussain Hall of Boys’ Hostel on April 17, 2025. The event was organized by the university’s Nasha Mukt Hostel Committee (NMHC).
The pledge reiterates JMI’s commitment to enforcing and supporting the Government of India’s efforts to encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle and to promote a drug-free campus.
The oath was administered to the residents in the presence of Prof. Ushvinder Kaur Popli, the nodal officer of NMHC, along with the hostel administrators and staff members.
