Class VI and IX Admission Tests Conducted Successfully at AMU
TNN News : The entrance tests for admission to Class VI and Class IX in schools maintained by Aligarh Muslim University were conducted smoothly today across 31 centres in Aligarh.
AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon, accompanied by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. M. Mohsin Khan, Proctor Prof. M. Wasim Ali, and other officials, visited multiple test centres to review arrangements and interact with parents and guardians.
Prof. Khatoon expressed satisfaction over the peaceful and well-organized conduct of the examinations and lauded the efforts of the teachers and staff for ensuring seamless coordination.
A total of 11,528 candidates appeared for the Class IX test from 14,375 applicants, while 8,776 candidates applied for Class VI admissions for the academic session 2025–26.
