CNMS Delegation Meets IOA President P. T. Usha; Discusses Women-Led Development and Youth Engagement for Viksit Bharat 2047

TNN News : A delegation from the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS) met P. T. Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, to discuss various initiatives of CNMS and invite her for a keynote address at the upcoming National Seminar on Women-Led Development.
The two-day seminar is scheduled to be held on June 17–18, 2025, in Srinagar, and will focus on empowering women and engaging youth for the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The CNMS delegation was led by Chairman Prof. Jasim Mohammad, along with Advisory Council Members Dr. Jawaid Rehmani and Prof. Divya Tanwar. During the meeting, Prof. Jasim Mohammad shared the ongoing work and mission of CNMS in the field of research, policy dialogue, and public awareness.
Prof. Jasim Mohammad stated that P. T. Usha ji is a symbol of strength, leadership, and women’s empowerment. Her thoughts will inspire the younger generation to take part in building a developed India by 2047.
The team discussed how to connect youth with national goals and inspire them to contribute to a self-reliant and progressive India.
“In our meeting with Ms. P. T. Usha ji, we had a meaningful discussion about how women and youth can play a big role in building a strong and developed India by 2047. We shared the work that CNMS is doing to promote women-led development, and how we are trying to connect more young people with the idea of Viksit Bharat,” he stated.
He also said that they discussed about how important it is to give the youth proper guidance and opportunities so that they feel part of the nation-building process.
“Centre for Narendra Modi Studies is working in schools, colleges, and universities to spread this message. We invited her to share her valuable thoughts at our seminar in Srinagar, and we are grateful that she accepted. Her presence will surely make the event special and impactful.” he said.
P. T. Usha also appreciated the efforts of CNMS and agreed that involving youth is key to India’s future. “It is heartening to see an institution like CNMS working with such passion to bring change. I’m happy to support your vision,” P.T Usha said.
P.T. Usha kindly accepted the invitation to deliver the Keynote Address at the seminar in Srinagar. The CNMS delegation thanked P.T. Usha for her valuable time and support, expressing confidence that her participation would add great value to the seminar and encourage wider public involvement in national development.
