NashaMukt Bharat PakhwadaObserved at JNMC, AMU

TNN News : The Department of Physiology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), observed the NashaMukt Bharat Pakhwada 2025 to raise awareness about substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle among students and staff.
Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and resident doctors of the department actively participated in the campaign to spread the message of a substance-free India.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Gul Ar Navi Khan, Chairperson of the department, emphasized the importance of living a healthy and addiction-free life. He urged all present to support the national mission “NashaMukt Bharat” by spreading awareness and committing to avoiding substance abuse.
As part of the observance, all staff members took the Nasha Mukti Pledge, which was read aloud by Prof. Khan and repeated in unison by all attendees, reaffirming their dedication to creating a drug-free environment.
To reinforce the campaign’s message, a poster was designed and distributed among students in the department and the college.
