AMU’s S.T.S. School Organizes Scholarship and Olympiad Medal Distribution Ceremony
TNN News : S.T.S. School, Aligarh Muslim University, organized the Scholarship and Olympiad Medal Distribution Ceremony for the academic session 2024–2025 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its students. The event recognized the accomplishments of more than 200 students from Classes VI to XII who participated in various prestigious Olympiads, including those conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), Silver Zone Foundation, and NSTSE.
Students from Classes VI to IX and Class XII were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their exemplary performance in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, General Knowledge, and reasoning. Several students also received special prizes for distinctions at the zonal, state, and national levels.
Among the special prize winners, Master Fazle Rehmani of Class IX (A6) was honoured with the Kaniz and Wizarat Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics for the session 2023–2024. He received a certificate along with a scholarship of Rs. 7,400. Mohd Saqib Ali Khan from Class VIII (A2) secured the 4th rank in the International Olympiad of Science (IOS) and was declared a Zonal Topper. Mayank Chaudhary of Class IX (A3) was awarded the Gold Medal of Excellence and achieved multiple distinctions in IOS, the National Science Olympiad (NSO), and the International Talent Hunt Olympiad (ITHO). Kesari Nandan Gaur, also from Class IX (A3), emerged as the Olympiad Topper in ITHO and received a cheque of Rs. 1,900 for his performance in the second level of the Silver Zone IOS.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Faisal Nafis expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments.
“This ceremony is a proud moment for the school. It showcases the hard work, discipline, and brilliance of our students and you have brought glory to our school and set a remarkable example for others,” he said.
The success of the event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff and organizing committee, including Olympiad Coordinator Mrs. Samina Yusuf Khan and Cultural Activity Coordinators Ms. Nasreen Fatima, Mr. Mohd Adnan Khan, and Mr. Mohammad Asim. The event was conducted by Mr. Farhan Habib.
