Travel Memoir on Kashmir to Be Launched in August: Advocate Mohd. Irshad Ahmad

Irshad Ahmad, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, is set to launch his latest travel memoir, Kashmir – A Journey Beyond Time, in the second week of August 2026. Published by the Aligarh Literature Festival, Publications Secretariat, the book is now in its final stage of publication and will soon be available to readers across the country.
Kashmir – A Journey Beyond Time is based on the author’s memorable six-day visit to Srinagar and several nearby places. More than just a travel book, it is a personal journey filled with memories, emotions, observations, and meaningful experiences. Through this memoir, the author shares how a short visit to Kashmir became an unforgettable experience that stayed with him long after he returned home.
The book beautifully captures the breathtaking beauty of the Kashmir Valley. It takes readers through snow-covered mountains, green valleys, peaceful lakes, flowing streams, colourful gardens, and the famous houseboats and shikaras of Dal Lake and Nigeen Lake. Every chapter brings alive a different side of Kashmir, allowing readers to experience the Valley through the eyes of a traveller who was deeply touched by its beauty and peace.
