University Placement Cell, JMI kickstarts placements for Batch 2027 with 34 students selected at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
The University Placement Cell (UPC), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), proudly announces the remarkable placement achievement of 34 students from the 2027 batch of B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA and M.Sc. programmes, who have been selected by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) through the campus placement process.
The aptitude test was held on 25th July 2026 at the Computer Laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia. A total of 300 students participated in the on-campus assessment conducted in two shifts. Following the assessment, 117 students were shortlisted for the interview process, which was conducted on 3rd and 4th August 2026 at the TCS office. After the completion of the selection process, 34 students were finally selected by TCS. The selected students have been offered positions across three profiles:
- TCS Prime: 1 student selected, with an annual package ranging from ₹9.09 LPA to ₹11.59 LPA.
- TCS Digital: 26 students selected, with an annual package ranging from ₹7.09 LPA to ₹7.39 LPA.
- TCS Ninja: 7 students selected, with an annual package ranging from ₹3.46 LPA to ₹3.62 LPA.
