AMU Faculty Member Chairs Session and Presents Research at International Conference

TNN News : Dr Mohd Atif Afzal, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, chaired a session at the International Conference on Business and Technology held at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Dr Atif also presented a research paper titled “Understanding the Economic Landscape: The Role of GDP and Inflation in Driving Bahrain Bourse Performance” during the conference. His study focused on the economic factors shaping the performance of the Bahrain Bourse, with a particular emphasis on the influence of GDP and inflation. He highlighted that long-term investors could benefit from exploring potential growth in sectors such as fintech, healthcare, renewable energy, and logistics.
The paper, co-authored by Dr Mohd Taqi, Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Bahrain Polytechnic and an alumnus of AMU, has been shortlisted for publication by Springer Publication House. Dr Taqi also chaired a session at the conference.
Prof Mohd Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, congratulated both faculty members for their academic contribution and recognition on an international platform.
