AMU Research Scholar Selected for Prestigious Doctoral Consortium at Interspeech 2025 in the Netherlands

TNN News : Mr. Jamaluddin, a Research Scholar at the Department of Computer Science, Aligarh Muslim University, has been selected to participate in the 11th Doctoral Consortium at Interspeech 2025, one of the world’s leading conferences on speech technology and spoken language processing, being organized by the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. The Doctoral Consortium will be held on August 16, 2025, in Rotterdam, followed by the main Interspeech Conference from August 17 to 21.
The Interspeech Doctoral Consortium provides an exclusive platform for selected PhD students to present their ongoing research and receive valuable feedback from a panel of internationally renowned experts in the field.
Mr. Jamaluddin will present his doctoral research titled “Development of End-to-End Speech Translation Models for Indian Languages” through a poster presentation. His research is being carried out under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Nadeem, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, AMU.
In recognition of his work, Mr. Jamaluddin has also been awarded the ISCA Grant, which will partially support his registration and travel expenses for the event.
Faculty members at the Department of Computer Science have congratulated Mr. Jamaluddin on this notable achievement and extended best wishes for his future academic endeavors.
