Paramedical College Interns Shine in Lenskart Recruitment Drive

TNN News :  Paramedical College, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office (General), organized a recruitment drive for final-year Optometry interns, marking another significant step in the college’s expanding placement portfolio.
The drive witnessed participation from the HR team of Lenskart. A hybrid recruitment format was adopted—while the theoretical assessments were conducted online by Lenskart’s CEO, the practical evaluations took place on campus, overseen by the company’s HR representatives.
An engaging pre-interview session was conducted by Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), in the presence of Principal Prof. Qazi Ehsan Ali and the visiting HR team.
Out of 22 Optometry interns from the outgoing 2021 batch (completing their internship in July 2025), 17 were successfully placed with Lenskart.
Prof. Qazi Ehsan Ali congratulated the selected students, calling their success a reflection of the college’s academic strength and dedicated mentoring. He also lauded the efforts of Mrs. Saima Ahsan, Teacher Incharge of Optometry, for her role in guiding the students.
Prof. Ali further highlighted the college’s recent achievements and announced plans to extend such recruitment opportunities to other allied health science streams in the near future.
