Prof Mohd Mohsin Khan Appointed AMU’s Pro Vice Chancellor

TNN News : Professor Mohd Mohsin Khan from the Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University, has been appointed as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor effect, until further orders.

Prof Khan is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with more than three decades of experience in the higher education sector. Over the years, he has held various significant positions within the university. He served as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce from 2014 to 2016 and as the Chairman of the Department of Commerce from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, he held the office of University Prof the university with immediate octor for more than three years and is currently serving as the Finance Officer of the university.

An accomplished researcher, Prof Khan has published dozens of research papers and authored several books and monographs. He has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and symposia as a speaker and chair. His commitment to research and academic mentorship is evident in his guidance of 15 Ph.D. scholars, with four more currently pursuing their research under his supervision.

Throughout his service at AMU, he has held several key administrative positions, including Member Incharge of University Gas Services and President of the University Swimming Club. As a faculty member, he has been actively engaged in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, with specialization in entrepreneurship, banking and finance, and financial institutions and markets.
