AI for Education Summit Receives Nationwide Academic Interest, Registration Dates Extended Until May 20

TNN समाचार : AI for Education Summit 2026 as per the revised schedule, the registration deadline has been extended till May 20, 2026. The organisers stated that the decision was taken after receiving a large number of requests from scholars, faculty members, researchers, and institutions seeking additional time to complete their submissions and registrations.

Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of the Centre for NaMo Studies, said that the response to the summit has been highly encouraging and reflects the growing national interest in the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming the education sector. He stated that participants from different universities, research institutions, schools, policy organisations, and technology sectors have shown keen enthusiasm to contribute to the discussions surrounding AI-driven educational reforms and innovation.

The summit, jointly organised by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Centre for NaMo Studies, and National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, Ministry of Education, Government of India will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the India International Centre, New Delhi

Prof. Jasim Mohammad said, “We have received a very positive and inspiring response from across the country. Many scholars, academicians, and researchers expressed their desire to participate in the summit but requested some additional time for completing their abstracts and registration formalities. Considering the academic importance of the conference and the enthusiasm shown by participants, we decided to extend the deadlines so that more meaningful contributions can become part of this important national discussion.”He further added that the summit aims to create a serious academic and policy-oriented platform where experts from different fields can discuss both the opportunities and challenges associated with Artificial Intelligence in the education ecosystem. According to him, AI is no longer limited to technology alone but has emerged as an important tool for improving teaching methods, research systems, accessibility, learning outcomes, and educational governance.
