JMI to conduct 3-week Short Term Training Program on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
TNN News : The Department of Computer Engineering Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize the Fourth Edition of the Short-Term Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from 30th June to 17th July 2026. The following are the details of the STTP:
ü A targeted Python programming-based curriculum over essential concepts & techniques in AI and ML.
ü Practical-oriented approach including primarily Coding and some Non-Coding ways that emphasize hands-on learning and practical applications of AI and ML.
ü Session slides and other relevant resource materials shall be provided.
ü Continuous evaluation of progress through quizzes, assignments.
ü Content being offered in both Offline as well as Online Mode.
ü A certificate from Jamia Millia Islamia to all successful candidates
Salient Features of STTP AIML 2026
- STTP offers lectures as well as hands-on sessions over programming and related concepts from subject experts.
- Hands-on experience through a series of modules.
- The STTP comprises of five modules:
Ø Introduction to AI and Python Basics
Ø Applied Data Science with Python Machine Learning Algorithms
Ø Deep Learning for Computer Vision using Keras & Tensorflow
Ø Deep Learning for NLP using Keras & Tensorflow
- Industry practitioners and Expert faculty from JMI and other reputed central/foreign universities, IITs, NITs, and IIITs shall deliver lectures.
- Few No-Code/Low-Code ways of using AI also to be covered in relevant modules Total available seats: 160 (Offline 60, Online 100).
- Seats to be filled on First Come First Served basis for eligible candidates only. Sessions shall be conducted from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm
Eligibility Criteria: Open to all Diploma, UG, PG and PhD scholars and Faculty with Maths background
