VC BGSB University Prof. Jawaid delivers Lecture on West Asia’s Geopolitical Shifts
TNN News : The Special Invited Lecture on “Changing Geo-Political Architecture of West Asia,” organized by Sir Syed (South) Hall, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), concluded successfully, drawing faculty members, students, and scholars into a discussion on the region’s evolving landscape.
Delivering the keynote address, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, provided an incisive analysis of power realignments, regional conflicts, and socio-economic transformations in West Asia. His insightful discourse shed light on the role of global stakeholders in shaping the region’s future, sparking engaging discussions among participants.
The session opened with a welcome address by Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan, Warden of Sir Syed South Hall, who set the stage for an academic exchange. The event was coordinated by Dr. Abdur Rouf, Provost of Sir Syed South Hall, while Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed, Warden of Sir Syed South Hall, delivered the vote of thanks.
Mr. Omar Peerzada, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of AMU, played a role in facilitating engagement and ensuring the event’s outreach. In his closing remarks, Mohd Ubaid, Senior Hall of Sir Syed South Hall, acknowledged the distinguished speakers and attendees, with special appreciation for Prof. Jawaid for his contributions.
