Muslim Forum Appreciates ABPS for Speaking Up for Hindus in Bangladesh
FMSA backs ABPS resolution on minority rights
TNN News : The Forum for Muslim Studies & Analysis (FMSA) has praised the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for passing a strong resolution in support of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. The resolution raises serious concerns about the violence, injustice, and forced conversions faced by the Hindu community there.
FMSA believes that every religious group should be treated with respect and safety. Attacks on Hindu temples, Durga Puja pandals, and religious leaders are worrying. Many Hindus in Bangladesh have been forced to leave their homes over the years, and their population has fallen from 22% in 1951 to just 7.95% today. The ABPS has done the right thing by demanding action to stop these attacks.
The Government of Bharat has also taken steps to support Hindus in Bangladesh and has raised this issue in diplomatic talks and international forums. Professor Jasim Mohammad Secretary General of FMSA India appreciates this effort and agrees with ABPS that global organizations like the United Nations should take strong action to protect Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh.
FMSA also admires the courage of Bangladesh’s Hindu community, which has been peacefully fighting for its rights. Many Hindu groups in Bharat and across the world have also raised their voices, which is a positive step. FMSA calls upon all human rights groups, religious leaders, and international bodies to come together and ensure safety, justice, and equal rights for all communities. ABPS has taken an important stand, and FMSA fully supports this call for justice.
